A thin wrapper over predict.gllvmTMB_multi() at the training rows
(newdata = NULL). Returns the same long data frame predict() returns
– one row per training observation, carrying its unit/species/trait
identifiers alongside the fitted value – rather than a bare vector, so
row identity against the original data is preserved. ... is forwarded
to predict() unchanged, so its other arguments (se.fit, re_form)
work here too.
Arguments
- object
A fit returned by
gllvmTMB().- type
One of
"response"(default, thefitted()convention) or"link".- ...
Forwarded to
predict.gllvmTMB_multi()(e.g.se.fit,re_form); see its documentation for what each accepts.
Value
A data frame with the original row identifiers (unit, species,
trait columns) plus an est column on the requested scale – identical
in shape to predict(object, newdata = NULL, type = type, ...). For a
multinomial() fit this is .predict_multinomial()'s output: K rows
per observation (one per category, including the baseline), not one.
