drmTMB: Distributional Regression Models Using TMB

drmTMB is a focused package for fast univariate and bivariate distributional regression models. The core design goal is one formula per distributional parameter, fitted by maximum marginal likelihood with Template Model Builder.

Status vocabulary

Public documentation distinguishes fitting support from evidence about inference. "Supported" means that drmTMB() accepts and fits the model under the stated family, formula, and data conditions. "Point-estimate recovery only" means that the fitted point estimates have been checked, but interval coverage has not. "Experimental" means that the route is usable only within its stated limits and may not provide standard errors or intervals. "Unsupported" syntax should not be used for analysis.
