Arguments

object

A fitted model object.

...

Reserved for future arguments.

Value

Reliability estimates for hsquared_fit objects.

Details

reliability() is part of the planned v0.1 fitted-object contract. It returns values only when an hsquared_fit object contains a Julia result field for reliability estimates. accuracy() returns the square root of reliability for hsquared_fit objects.

The engine defines reliability as 1 - PEV_i / (sigma_a2 * A_ii), using the dense relationship matrix A = inv(Ainv) implied by the supplied precision. For a genomic spec (Ainv = Ginv) this A_ii is `diag(inv(Ginv)) = diag(G)

  • ridge(the regularized genomic self-relationship, often not equal to 1), so the genomic ridge perturbs the reported reliability and accuracy. Reliability values are **not clipped**;accuracy()` rejects a reliability value below 0 or above 1 rather than silently clipping it.
