Extract prediction error variances — prediction_error

Usage

prediction_error_variance(object, ...)

object: A fitted model object.
...: Reserved for future arguments.

Value

Prediction error variances for hsquared_fit objects.

Details

prediction_error_variance() is part of the planned v0.1 fitted-object contract. It returns values only when an hsquared_fit object contains a Julia result field for prediction error variances.

The engine defines PEV as the animal-block diagonal of the inverse of the precision-scaled Henderson mixed-model-equation coefficient matrix, so diag(C^-1) is directly the prediction error variance in variance units, with no separate sigma_e2 factor to apply.
